An exciting new partnership has been formed between Le Chameau and Michelin. Both are strong French brands, well known in their industries and sharing the same common values with regards to excellent customer service and quality workmanship.
Michelin are renowned as market leaders for tyre manufacture. For over one hundred years their tyres have become the standard. They deliver outstanding performance no matter what surface or conditions they meet.
There is an obvious fit for the Michelin brand technology to be incorporated into footwear soles. The inherent and consistent brand values that Michelin stands for: Quality, Safety and Performance are present in the Ceres boot. Technical collaboration with Le Chameau has enabled development of this new product, which boasts the style of Le Chameau with the grip and durability that Michelin technology provides.
The Sole has the same structure as a Michelin tyre with Ultraflex technology.
- Grip - Better Grip by increasing the number of contact zones.
- Auto-Cleaning Structure - which evacuates soil during the flexing motion of walking
- Comfort - Le Chameau well-fitting support.
- Durability - Resistant to abrasion thanks to homogenous pressure on the contact zones.
The perfect boot when the going gets tough
Designed for agricultural professionals in particular, the sole of the boot shares many of the benefits of the market leading new Michelin tyre, the Ultraflex. As the name suggests, this new sole unit is highly flexible and lightweight. The Ceres is extremely durable with a reinforced leg.
The sole's tread mirrors that of the Ultraflex tyre, which has been designed to better distribute weight over a greater surface area, thus reducing the amount the boot sinks into the ground.
